Featured Highlights include:

  • Naga Munchetty discusses her book It’s Probably Nothing, exploring women’s health issues.
  • Zadie Smith & Nick Laird present WEIRDO GOES WILD in a children-friendly session.
  • Hanif Kureishi offers a rare public appearance to talk about his memoir Shattered, chronicling life following paralysis.

The festival’s Community Tent hosts entirely free events, celebrating local writers and emerging voices. Offerings include readings by local poets, panels on AI and creativity, and discussions exploring identity and heritage.

A community-driven festival produced by the charity NW6 ARTS, the event thrives on volunteer support and local engagement. It’s known as a “vibrant celebration of literary arts,” likened more to a “village fete” than a formal literary conference.
